Recently i read a small booklet on customer service and someone wrote this:

"Happy is the man who found a way to serve!

"When i read it, i was like.. "Wow, that's true!"

Imagine that whenever u are working, you are able to make the customer feel and receive your service and help ( at times, encounters makes us feel that its not worth paying that 10% service charge. but make sure u are not one of the contributers of such encounters).

Imagine that whenever your co-workers see you turn up for work, they rest assured that they are working with someone who knows how to really work, providing quality services, both to the customers and co-workers. Some may even be amazed by ur wisdom, knowledge or even just your attitude.

That is serving in the market place.

Then how should we serve in ministry?

Well, you can know part of it by taking the above sentances in bold, and replace the words in orange with the words of either 'leader' or 'members'. But of cos, it will not be a job anymore which may include your passion... but is labor of love. Serving not because u have to, but want to with love.

Happy is the man who found the way to serve.

Hmm... i need to move up into responsibility to both others & myself, beyond the call of duty, into the labor of love.

i'm home...
