hei hei.. i'm back to blog. haa! after a super long time. Well... cos my com broke down.

Share some short revelations and verses that struck me these past few weeks.

Gen 8:20-21

V20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

V21 And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, "I will never again curse the ground for man's sake, although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.

Noah, after the flood, took every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered up to God. So naturally, he is left with the unclean animals and birds. But that offering created a soothing aroma to God.

From that, God promise never to destroy man with flood. Noah's offering had a great impact on mankind. So did Jesus's offering. (I did wondered if mine can ever make such great impact.)

Jesus came and died for us so salvation is made available to all.

But we`are to continue in the offering He made:

2 Cor
V15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing

We are little Chirst.

When we meet with fear and challanges and going into the ground of the unknown, we take up courage and boldness.

Acts 4: 23-31
V23 And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them.

V24 So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: "Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them,

V25 who by the mouth of Your servant David have said: 'Why did the nations rage, And the people plot vain things?

V26 The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together Against the Lord and against His Christ.'

V27 "For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together

V28 to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.

V29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word,

V30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus."

V31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Have courage and boldness in the face of the unknown, in the new grounds.

Joshua 1:7
Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

My new ground is to love like i never been and learn to do so now in God's way. What is your's?

Also i've learnt that obedience is the key to liberty. Obedience brings great joy!

We want glory to glorify God.

In the latest issue of Harvest Times (Releasing the Glory in You), Pastor Kong wrote:

"Our whole goal in life is to persue 'our moment of glory'. Our whole goal in life is to pursue that moment until He brings us into it. When we have become everything we were born to be. When we have shown the world our full weight or the full value of who we are in Christ. That is when we have glorified God."

Hab 2:14
For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea.

Wow.

We should run in this race to seek 'our moment of glory'. Take the grounds with all boldness and courage.

Trust in God brings everlasting strength.

Isaiah 26:4
Trust in the Lord forever, For in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.

Work with your hands! Let your hearts always be filled with hope. Pour out your life! Like Esther, if we perish, we perish. But let ur sacrifice be unmixed. Let it be a soothing aroma to God. Look thru the eyes of the Holy Spirit. Plan, but let God guide your way to 'your moment of glory'.

Hab 2:14
For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea.

Oh God, help me perfect my love. Love cast out all fears! In You, I trust!

i'm home...
